How can my organisation join the FUSE:Havering partnership?

We are keen to expand and diversify our membership. If you represent a school, college, education establishment or creative/cultural organisation working with children and young people in Havering, then get in touch through our CONTACT US page.

How is FUSE:Havering funded?

FUSE:Havering is an unincorporated association, managed by Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch. Currently, activity is fundraised for through trust and foundation grants and in-kind support from partner organisations. FUSE:Havering is currently supported by funds from: A New Direction, London Borough of Havering and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

Are all activities free?

Our events guide aims to list a range of activities, delivered by both FUSE:Havering partners and external providers. Not all activities listed are delivered directly by FUSE:Havering, and so you will find a range of free, subsidised and paid for activities. Costs are listed on each of the individual events pages.

My child is Home School Educated, how can I find out about creative and cultural events for them ?

All FUSE: Havering activity is designed for school age children and young people, but is accessible from both within and outside of formal education environments, so search through our events listing to find activities in your neighbourhood.

Are young people represented at the FUSE: Havering partnership meetings?

Young people have been consulted via the “Children have Spoken” youth voice project, and this has helped shape and articulate out strategic plans. Ensuring the voice of children and young people are at the heart of our decision-making and planning is essential, and this can take many forms of consultation, but currently not through regular attendance at the termly partnership meetings.
